I have been to this restaurant twice. First time, in 2020. Food was excellent and service was good. I remember that we especially loved the Peshawari naan. It had a good filling and was just so tasty. We also took our friends there, who loved the naan very much. After after dinner, both me and my husband got a upset stomach.
This time we went a week ago, (after having tried a lot of Indian food takeaway in a year), I was a little bit disappointed with the quantity of the food but it was still delicious. We went with our same friends who loved it last time. But this time around the naan was not

I have been eating here for some 30 years ever since it was called the Balti Empire and the quality of the food and service throughout that time has remained as it was today... excellent.
Not the cheapest place to eat but the value remains long after the price has been forgotten.
If you've never been here then give it a try as I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Visited last night for our prize as “Facebook competition winners” - greeted very warmly! Beautiful meal from start to end, faultless! We had magic mushrooms and onion Bahji to start, followed by tikka bhuna, keema rice and keema naan. Hubby had one of the chef specials for main with mushroom rice and keema naan - he couldn’t finish it so brought the remainder home! Lovely portions, you couldn’t want for anything. Will definitely be revisiting!
