For a 5star hotel my expectations were so much more. One of our bath towels had red stains so we called reception immediately and was asked to leave the towel outside the room for replacement. In the morning the towel was gone but no replacement. We also emailed advising what had happened but no response as yet.The breakfast was awful, toast arrived way before the breakfast so we had to ask for fresh toast, the scrambled egg tasted bad and the breakfast tables are old and worn. If you look up to the ceiling in the breakfast area the ceiling is flaking and discoloured same in the bedroom the ceiling

I booked the hotel to celebrate our anniversary but we were both disappointed with how it turned out. The room was tired and facilities not upto scratch. We had booked the spa in advance and told to change in our room. Unfortunately there were no robes or bathroom slippers. After calling reception we were brought robes but we had to use the soft slippers which were provided. The spa was also a disappointing. Due to the number of people we were unable to use the jacuzzi and we hadn't realised the pool was as exercise pool and as my wife and I aren't strong swimmers we kept getting pushed back by

We have had this hotel booked for a very special occasion for months and yesterday when we ate due to arrive on the 31st August they have decided to inform us that its being used as a quarantine hotel. Clearly information they knew well ahead of time. They offered us sub grade rooms with no compensation and when we asked to be moved to an… accommodation they did have the room category at they flatly refused. The reservations Director Phyo is as useful, understanding and charismatic as a rock. We have always been loyal customers to your brand hence trusting you with a very important booking

We booked a Wow Suite at Montcalm brewery and got to the hotel to find it closed! We were directed to their Royal London hotel, which was rowdy, the lift smelt of weed, our room was not what we’d booked and we… could hear a squeaky lift all night, and the service at breakfast was awful. We’ll never stay here again, although hadn’t actually intended to. To make matters worse, I emailed the hotel afterwards to express my disappointment and they’ve completely ignored me!! Absolutely appalled!!

An average hotel.
Not worth the stay in my opinion and definitely not worth its 5 star rating.
The room was terribly cleaned and bed was not made correctly. Hence my frustration when I found a big black stain on the top left corner of the mattress which was not a pleasant surprise.
The only thing the hotel has going to it is its location.
*did not try the food at the restaurant.
*the bar area looks pleasant.

Looks nice in the pictures... but when we got here is was dirty cusion was filthy, furniture was worn and scuffed and everything looked outdated. The swimming pool was nice. I’m sure is was nice about 15 years ago but it’s run down and not worth the money. I stayed in 2020

Left Stranded in London. Had a confirmed reservation for a hotel that was closed!! No communication prior to arrival/check in time.
So ..I booked for the Piccadilly Hotel in London today (a hotel belonging to the Montcalm chain). I booked directly via the Piccadilly Hotel website and got my reservation number. I got to the Hotel at 3pm to find the… front boarded up and a note on the door about deliveries and reservations. I spent half hour on hold on the phone and was told the hotel was non operational and they could give me a room at the Marble Arch Hotel instead. Marble Arch is over a

Fantastic hotel in the heart of London. You are a stones throw away from Oxford street so great for shopping. Rates were fair and the room was very nice. Breakfast was good with a range of options available

The quality of the rooms is stunning. The reception staff likewise.
But ordering room service was a nightmare. The go-between who eventually answered the phone had broken English at best. The wait for delivery was worse, almost causing my wife to have a hypo (type 1 diabetic).
And don't get started on breakfast. There was probably half of the stuff out, cloches empty and a chef who really didn't understand how to cook eggs 🥚.
The food really let an otherwise fab stay down.

Went here for an afternoon tea, cakes were tasty and so were the scones however, the bread for the sandwiches felt alittle stale. But lovely staff showed us to our table and quickly got us our drinks we ordered and we didn't have to ask for table water as the waiter came over with it straight away. Overall a great experience would come here again.

This review is for "The Grill"...the dining room in the hotel: Quiet, fancy, slow service, really good local food, a bit pricey for the portions; not sure I'd return. Details: A fancy modern restaurant... was very quiet on the night I went... only 2/3rds of the tables were seated (and yet they told us it was full that evening, made it difficult to get the time we wanted). Food all locally sourced; bread was fantastic. Portion size was really small...needed dessert to feel full...and that was with an appetizer and steak dinner with a side. Service was a bit slow...looked like only 2 servers for

Professional Friendly Service, very responsive to our needs. Room was superb with the WOW factor. Great location to Oxford Street shops. Spa facilities and Restaurant good too. Only small and slight complain was the bacon at breakfast, was not freshly cooked, pity cos the rest of the meal was good. In any case, we enjoyed at our stay.
