Our beautiful, mature parkland golf course is immaculately maintained to the very highest standards and provides an enjoyable challenge that engages with golfers of all abilities. Set in just over 100 acres of beautiful rolling Warwickshire countryside to the east of Birmingham, Maxstoke Park Golf Club provides an excellent test of golf.
It is the chosen venue for regular matches at both County and Midland level and regularly used by societies. Set in the extensive grounds of the magnificent medieval moated Maxstoke Castle you can enjoy the historic scenery as much as the golf. Dating from 1345, the castle has been owned and occupied by the Fetherston-Dilke family for over 400 years.

Services
Originally formed in 1898 the club has had three homes and gathered an interesting history in the process. As Ward End Golf Club, and then Castle Bromwich Golf Club, the early years saw the likes of Harry Vardon and HS Colt play leading design roles. The Second World War saw change and the eventual move to the present site came with a nine hole course, constructed around the grounds of Maxstoke Castle, the medieval centrepiece of the golf club.
The Professional Shop at Maxstoke Park Golf Club is run by PGA Head Professional Neil McEwan. Neil was appointed Head Professional in 1994 and, with over 30 years of experience, is considered to be one of the best coaches in the Midlands. Neil has been coach to European tour players Steve Webster, Tom Whitehouse, Andy Sullivan and Sam Walker as well as many Challenge tour and PGA golf professionals.
Maxstoke Park is a perfect venue for golf societies and away days offering a warm welcome to our exceptional course, excellent clubhouse and catering facilities. Our staff will liaise closely with you to ensure that all your expectations are met. Please contact us to discuss your day where bespoke packages can be tailored to your needs.
Golf is such a versatile game. You can play on your own or with up to three of your friends or colleagues at any one time, so why not come and have a game at Maxstoke Park. Whilst membership offers the best benefits and unlimited golf, we appreciate it doesn't suit everyone so we have some fantastic rates to come and play on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and during British Summer Time weekend afternoons.
At Maxstoke Park we consider that appropriate behaviour both in the clubhouse and on the Golf Course is more important than dictating how an individual should be dressed.
We recognise that opinions on this matter are very divided so, as a guideline for your visit, please note that any smart casual clothing, including denim, is acceptable in the Clubhouse although we draw the line at caps, flip-flops, beach style shorts and football shirts being worn.

What a fantastic course to play anytime of the year. Always had a great experience here. Facilities are brilliant, and the bar is well stocked and staff are fantastic and very friendly.Course is always immaculate and well manicured and looked after. Very challenging to all types of handicaps. Bookings are always hard to come by especially if you not a member so planning ahead is a must, but in my experience well worth it 👍🏽🏌️♂️

29 members of our golf society visited The Maxstoke Golf Course on Monday 7th June . . .
I'll keep it simple - "the best golf course we have visited / played in 2.5 yrs"
The greens were so true . The course is interesting, well kept, tricky in places but not sole destroying. A brilliant day - we will be back next year
