Formed in 1907, The Walsall Golf Club is the hidden gem in the heart of the West Midlands located a short distance from the Midlands motorways link, the ideal venue for your society or Captain's away day. The 18 hole course has an abundance of sand traps, with each and every green requiring a precise second shot.

The layout is little changed from Dr MacKenzie's original design but a careful programme of tree planting over the last fifty years means that every fairway is tree lined calling for greater accuracy from the tee than most courses.
Services
The benefits of being a member of our traditional private members club are second to none. The opportunity to play regular golf on our beautiful golf course is obviously the main reason why golfers join, but soon our members enjoy being part of our "family" of friendly fellow sportspeople. Our course is an easy walking course which suits golfers of all ages with two starting points, 1st and 10th tees.
Full members have full voting and playing rights including the option to enter "Major Competitions" which are those which have honours board recognition around the clubhouse. An opportunity to add your name to the history of the Club for many years to come. A joining fee applies for full membership please see below for details.
MacKenzie members may not play in the "Major Competitions" (those with honours boards in the clubhouse). MacKenzie members may not vote at the Annual General Meeting. MacKenzie members may not hold an office within the Club. Subscription fees are usually paid in monthly instalments by standing order and currently we are offering 25% discount for the first 12 months.
Walsall Golf Club Ltd has a thriving Ladies section and we welcome new Lady members who wish to join us. We are a friendly group of ladies of all ages and abilities who share a passion for golf and the fun and friendship our sport brings. Our ladies' section is an integral part of the Walsall Golf Club family.
We have a thriving group of junior players, of all ages and abilities, boys and girls. For many years, we have had a reputation of encouraging and nurturing junior players. We have strong connections with Staffordshire County Golf Union and many of our juniors represent the County, in both the girls and boys sections, at Under-14, -16 and -18 level and some have even gone on to play with England Schoolboys.
