Sarti Wellington St opened as a cafe & delicatessen in 1992, and set a new standard for authentic Italian food in Glasgow. The restaurants on Bath St & Renfield St, also in Glasgow, followed. The concept has always been simple - combine the finest Italian ingredients with outstanding Scottish produce, to create traditional Italian food that looks good & tastes even better.
Whichever cafe or restaurant you choose, you can be sure of a warm welcome, and a fantastic meal. We always have plenty of pizza, pasta, meat & seafood on the menu. Children are welcome, and we also have a good choice for vegans, vegetarians and anyone on a gluten-free diet. The original Sarti cafe, which opened 27 years ago.

Services
You can now enjoy the authentic, Italian taste of Sarti in the comfort of your own home. From basic essentials like pasta, to the freshest pasta sauce & pizza to heat at home, fantastic wine & our own coffee. We have always sold a good selection of Italian produce in our delicatessens, and we've expanded the this service to home delivery.
We have been catering for parties, events & office lunches in Glasgow for over 25 years. With the growth of Sarti @ Home, we're now able to offer our catering service across East & West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire, Stirlingshire & most of Ayrshire. Rather than offering set-menus, we find it's easier for our customers to discuss their event & we tailor a menu accordingly.
A great selection of high-quality Italian groceries & snacks, that should be everyone's cupboard! We will do our best to deliver on your preferred day (which you can choose when checking out). We supply some of the finest pasta from Italy, made by either Antica, Barilla, DeCecco (who are all household names in Italy & in Italian communities around the world).
We will do our best to deliver on your preferred day (which you can choose when checking out). We have taken great care in selecting some outstanding Italian wines for our restaurants & home delivery. All of the bottles below are 1.5l magnums, and are very good wines. They're naturally great to enjoy at home, but also make a wonderful gift.
We will do our best to deliver on your preferred day (which you can choose when checking out). High quality ingredients, for an even better barbecue! The chicken is free range, and Scottish Beef & Pork are used for the sausages & burgers (all supplied to us by Rodgers Butchers). Our BBQ drinks pack has something for everyone, including soft drinks.

Have been going to Sarti for nearly 30 years and have never been disappointed. If you like great atmosphere, fantastic fresh dishes and like the kitchen being in view this is the place. We do sometimes choose something new from the menu, but the favourites we keep returning to are their carbonara and penne alla norcina - Sarti sausage is amazing. Can't wait to go back again and again.

Wow! what a fantastic service! First time ordering a Christmas hamper from Sarti for friends and I'm so pleased I did! I had been searching online for a decent Italian hamper and couldn't find any. Then we thought of Sarti, old haunt of ours from old, (I'm Glasgow Italian). From order to delivery, the attention to customer service was phenomenal.
Got a call, (and I live in Italy!,) from Ashleigh as soon as I ordered as I asked if it were possible to include cannoli's. She was so nice and helpful, taking the time to explain the process and what is included. She said she would send a photo of the

This is just great, it's a fabulous Italian restaurant, right in the heart of Glasgow, situated in a nice area close to some of Glasgows top residential streets. The food is simple but beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are friendly and good humoured and your food comes in good time. The place has a lovely feel and ambience and I would recommend it to anyone. Super!

Oh my what a delight this place is! Authentic Italian cuisine - no junk, no fuss. Immediately I’m going to say to you - book your table because you may find it hard to get in otherwise. While I was there, five or six walk in tables were turned away. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and attentive.
I went on a late Saturday afternoon when it was busy, busy, busy - mainly with Italian families presumably eating the food from home. That’s the best part - the food. I had a large seafood stew filled with everything - mussels, prawns, clams, squid etc etc all served in a hearty broth. Then on top

Don't know what all the hype is about. Too packed not a place for a romantic meal. We booked mid week. On arrival the bar was covered in rubbish and empty glasses not what you expect from a so called high end establishment. The person I went with was Italian. And the waitress couldn't even answer a basic question about a meal, and this caused her to change her mind.
I've been to better places and cannot understand the star rating.
Meal was expensive and sparse. The mens toilets are disgusting with toilet seat smashed.

A Sunday lunch for someone's birthday - paid for by that someone's significant other. The best kind of birthday lunch.
Sarti's reputation travels. Our hosts told us how, when they lived in Cyprus, before moving to Glasgow, they were advised by an Italian in their local Cypriot Italian restaurant that there were only two Italian restaurants in Glasgow worth visiting. This was one.
Very much the Italian trattoria feel with exuberant service to match. Bottled and tap water on offer. An interesting selection of specials including pasta (of course) and much locally sourced seafood

My friend and I came here today after a wine tasting and from the out set the waiter (or manager) was very poor at his job, he had a moody look on his face,he did not look after our table (my friend and I) very well at all plus it was not that busy, secondly we waited 30 mins on our pasta! I was going to order us a sweet but because he was so bad at his job and our food took so long to get to our table we just got the bill (£50) and left! He even took 15 mins to get us our bill! Not good not good at all! We will not be back.

The wife and me had spent a good few hours trekking round the city centre buying cards, comics, books and other assorted bits to fill our bags and so were in serious need of a decent meal.
So with a quick tap on my Yelp app I checked out the nearest places to eat. I was tempted by more burgers and fries but I had a bit of a hankering for some Italiano scran so when Fratelli Sarti popped up, the choice was made! I pass this little place quite often on my way up to Sauchiehall Street from work and always fancied having a meal because I like the authentic Italian design and layout of the restaurant

What can I say? What a great place!! Sarti @ Wellington St. is an Italian restaurant with a traditional room, very tasty food, delicious wine while served by very attantive staff. It really was my first time in Sarti and I am thinking already to go back. The greeting was very warm from the staff. We were 4 of us and we all had the same opinion. The food : involtini speck, mozzarella piemontes, focaccia rosemary were amazing ( involtini were incredible!!!). Pizza, lasagne , spaghetti with meatballs, penne deliziose absolutely perfectly cooked. We enjoyed every dish. We had 4 ice creams caramel with

As a born and bred Glaswegian, I'm ashamed to say it took me nearly 26 years to experience the long-established culinary institution that is Sarti's. We went here for a graduation celebration, although we didn't have the graduation menu.
The atmosphere was very authentically Italian - if you ignored the sheets of Glaswegian rain outside the window, you could almost fool yourself that you were actually in Italy! The staff all seemed to be Italian as well, delivering entertaining banter and impressively thorough menu expertise in their beee-yoo-tiful accents. I was even offered some
