I still remember our 2nd night's stay here after we spent the first night in a much more beautiful n luxurious hotel to save some money, the beds r not comfy but room and bathroom were clean nd the staff were sooo hospitable and I loved the dining players ambience. The breakfast was good too, yeah was veg. though. But in such a great location the price was worth.

This hotel focuses on your minimum requirements for a cheaper price. However, they fell short on a few minimum requirements in my stay. This included:
1. Uncomfortable/caved mattress (photo attached)
2. Shower head caked in limescale (photo attached)
3. Breakfast had been cancelled despite pre-paying and showing up on time. No alternative, refund or apology was offered.
Otherwise, the stay was adequate. A digital television is provided but the picture quality is low. Towels and two bar soaps are provided. The decor could use an update but is otherwise suitable. While I expected a low grade

To start with, I was in a top floor room and had to climb 7 flights of stairs (no elevator and the front desk staff wasn’t helping) twice to get my bags up. When I finally made it to the room, it was sweltering with the heater blasting. Turned that off and tried to open the window—can’t it’s bolted shut. No circulation of air and I’m literally suffocating. I’m also covered in sweat from the two round trips hauling luggage up 7 flights of stairs so try to shower before going out again. No hot water, not just “not hot” but actually icy and near freezing temperature and no towel..

If I could give it a zero rating, I would. When my family and I checked in in the evening, the room given to us was in the basement. Room was in an awful condition, some lights were not working and the shower was awful, bed was on the verge of breaking apart and the room smelled damp. I got woken up in the morning from water dripping on my bed from the window above. It was raining, there was a hole and my bed got wet.
Went straight to reception and the lady said the next room available was 5 stories up on the top floor. Mind you there’s no lift and we had to lug the bags up and she didn’t

One star hotel, at best. Our was very dated and dingy - including peeling paint on the walls and a dirty french door on a small communal patio. The toilet was extremely small and had mould throughout, in the shower, by the sink, etc. The patio door couldn't be locked either, so we didn't leave anything valuable in the room. Breakfast was ok, but the dishes were a bit dirty and looked to have been poorly cleaned. Would not recommend.

Inexpensive place to stay at in London. You get what you pay for. We had no air conditioning through out our stay, wasn't too bad during the cool days but when it got warm it became stifling. The room was tight but it had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but it hit the spot. Staff was friendly and efficient. We chose this place for its location and we were very happy for that.

We had a room on the lower level and it was serviceable. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was pretty cramped. I could lay on the bed and stretch my arms out, touch one wall and almost touch the other. I've never seen such a small bathroom before. The shower was disgusting. The staff answered all our questions, but they didn't seem happy about it. It was ok for us as we only spent 2 nights there and were only in the room to sleep. It's really close to Victoria Station and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and other sights. We won't be staying there again.

Booked on hotels.com for a party of three.
The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from Victoria metro/train station situated on the south face of leafy Eccleston Square. Our room was huge - space to sleep six - but rather tired and with an odd aroma. That said, for being in the basement we had ample natural lighting and access to fresh air.
Reception is manned 24-hours; you deposit the key when you leave. Safe in the room. Wifi is paid but we were able to connect to a neighboring network gratis. Breakfast is included but basic - cereal, yogurt, OJ, tea. Service varies - reception was friendly

For its price, this is a very comfortable hotel. it is cheap, but I have stayed a number of times. No lift, I have had a quiet room at the back of the hotel, with ensuite. Room appears to have been squeezed out of stairwell space, but it was fine. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast in the morning, nothing hot except toast and tea. Very convenient for Victoria station and Westminster.
