Cawood House
We believe everyone should be encouraged and supported to live their best possible life, whatever their age, health or capabilities. Instead of settling into a grey existence, we choose to live life in colour. In our 11 homes across Stockport, the incredible life stories and fascinating characters of our residents are respected, admired and celebrated with activities, friendship and the freedom to lead fulfilled and valuable lives.

Just as their personalities are unique; so too is their care solution. We take the time to find out what each and every person needs and loves, so we can deliver the care and support that is truly personal to them; from the way they like to relax to the way they prefer their toast. As a not-for-profit organisation, we reinvest any surplus money into the services we offer, to serve the best interests of our residents and their families.
Services
For over 20 years we have worked with amazing people every day. From those who choose to live with us and their families, to our care home staff and our head office team, we are all united in our aspiration to live life in colour. We provide the safety and sanctuary of a warm and welcoming home but refuse to accept that moving into residential care means life becomes grey and dull.
Each of our homes are as individual as the people who live in them. Located in the borough of Stockport, we want to make them feel like real homes for our residents; somewhere they can relax, feel safe and ultimately, belong. Visit our homes and you'll see they're designed as small 'households, ' a cluster of bedrooms revolving around their own lounge and dining area.
Located in Cale Green, all accommodation at Bamford Close is on the ground floor in this single-storey care home. Four self-contained 'households' create its unique layout, each with ten single bedrooms sharing their own lounge, dining and assisted bathing, shower and toilet facilities. The highly experienced team offer compassionate and dignified End of Life care.
Bruce Lodge is a modern two-storey building with secluded landscaped gardens offering pleasant views from their outdoor balcony, overlooking Woodbank Memorial Park and Vernon Park in Offerton. The recently refurbished home is a purpose-built dementia care home with wide corridors and a light and airy environment.
Bryn Haven is a two-storey building set in its own, enclosed gardens in the Brinnington area of Stockport with close links to the local pedestrianised shopping area, health centre and a bank of local volunteers. This home can accommodate up to 41 residents, offering a choice of communal lounges, including a wonderful, large conservatory, which provides a bright and airy seating area - very pleasant when the sun decides to show up!
