At Inglewood Residential Care Home residents enjoy a homely atmosphere within a family environment. We encourage them to live their lives as they wish, enjoying the independence of which they are capable, whilst receiving the support that they may need.
Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time and refreshments are always freely available. Residents are looked after in a safe, caring environment, where all our staff are specifically trained to be able to manage the changing needs of our residents. We maintain a warm, homely and non-institutional environment where our residents can relax in their own private bedrooms or participate in the social activities on offer.

Lynne and Jim Barton have owned and operated Inglewood for over 30 years. Lynne is also the Registered Manager and is justifiably proud of the team at Inglewood and their commitment to providing excellent care. Alice Brooks, Deputy Manager, has spent her working life at Inglewood from part time Carer whilst at college, to Deputy Manager after gaining her Nursing degree.
Inglewood Residential Care Home offers a range of rooms, each with it's own individual character and all with a relaxed, welcoming and homely feel. Some rooms are in the older part of the property and some are located in the newer purpose built wing. We offer one double room, the rest are single rooms with en-suite and some with patio.
Nutrition is a vital aspect of excellent care and at Inglewood we take great pleasure in offering traditional 'home' cooking, freshly prepared every day. Our residents enjoy a good selection of tasty, visually appetising food and are consulted about menu changes and meal times. Care is taken to cater for individual dietary requirements and preferences regarding where residents take their meal.
I have a lot of experience of care homes gained from my professional working life as a social worker and also on a personal level when choosing care homes for my clients and, more recently, for my mother in law. I feel that in Inglewood there is a high level of care, commitment and warmth shown by the staff.
