Services
Hampton Veterinary Centre is a modern, purpose-built veterinary surgery located in the area of Hampton Hargate, Peterborough. We have a small, friendly team of veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and receptionists dedicated to providing the highest possible standards of care for your pets. Whilst we aim to provide the most up-to-date treatments for our patients, we have not forgotten the traditional values on which the practice was built.
Our practice provides a range of pet care services. If you have any questions about your pet's need for treatment or a specific aspect of our service, please call the surgery or email us. We offer a complete healthcare service. The practice provides a full diagnostic service including radiography, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and electrocardiography.
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.
If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

I was informed that my dog was not microchiped on our initial visit as I registered there as I wanted my new companion to have a overall check up..
Because of the law guidance with u having to microchip ur pets which is now compulsory, I then arranged a day for this to be done...
I arrived with my pet dog on the arranged day to which the vet informed me that actually he was already microchiped, but she took it upon herself to give him a second chip without my consent and overall approval for it to go ahead.. I found this very unprofessional and I would have liked to have been told of the chip

Best vet we visited. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient. They discuss options. Clean place with vets, nurses and receptionists being very kind. They can give you advice on the phone and only if needed they we schedule an appointment. We trust them with our fur babies lives, as they saved our boy from grim situation. That never will be forgotten. ❤️

The vets seem to really understand the cats.
One of them used to get incredibly stressed going to the vet, but no longer does.
The other seems quite pleased with vet visits normally.
They have both had dental treatment and our rescue cat had a pellet removed.
They're always reasonable and ask before adding treatments in consideration of the cost, but we always play it safe.
They're always good with us so far, been using them for at least 2 years, possibly 3 at this time.
