Beaples Barton holiday cottages are situated on the outskirts of the delightful Devon village of Knowstone, in between Tiverton & South Molton. Located in a hidden and peaceful location, sheltered by the surrounding woodland and overlooking a lake and meadow, Beaples Barton offers an idyllic rural retreat and a great base from which to explore Devon and Exmoor National Park.
As well as being Devon holiday cottages situated in a very tranquil setting, we are within easy reach of many local beauty spots, such as the North Devon coast and Exmoor. Our two holiday cottages, Coombe Cottage & Dairy Cottage, were originally part of an old dairy farm and were renovated in the late 1980s.

Nestled in the Devon countryside, our cottages form part of the original old Beaples Barton Farm, situated in a beautiful valley and surrounded by native & fir woodland. Coombe Cottage & Dairy Cottage have been modernised and refurbished to a high standard enabling guests to relax in our Devon holiday accommodation, unwind and appreciate what the local area has to offer.
Coombe Cottage has been recently refurbished with a clean and modern feel. It has a spacious open plan living space with ample comfortable seating, a large feature inglenook fireplace with electric fire, feature beams and a dining suite, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind.
A well-equipped kitchen is located at the rear of the cottage and has a door leading out to a private decked patio ideal for relaxing outside and enjoying the views or alfresco dining in the summer.Stairs lead up to one double room offering beautiful views over Exmoor hillsides and there is a further spacious twin bedroom and newly fitted shower room.
