We offer several opportunities for all stakeholders to contribute to the ethos of the school through parent representatives, school council, PTA and school surveys. We utilise all of these avenues to ensure that our school is at the heart of the community and constantly adapting to offer a safe and vibrant place for the children to learn.

Services
Godstone Primary and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. This means that we have a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and procedures in place, which can be viewed on our website or in the main office.
At Godstone Primary and Nursery School we aim to provide the children with inspirational learning opportunities that foster a lifelong love of learning. The children will develop the knowledge and skills to succeed in life and become valued members of the community. Children at our school will develop a love of learning through an ambitious curriculum and experiential learning.
Our school works within a 'Teaching School Alliance' that comprises of a group of local schools and other partners supported by the leadership of a teaching school. All schools benefit by receiving support, as well as strategic partners that will lead on certain aspects. Alliances may be cross phase and cross sector, work across local authorities and may include different types of organisation.
At Godstone Primary and Nursery School we employ a positive behaviour management approach. This approach utilises the school's core values of pride, compassion, responsibility, respect and ambition, which supports the children throughout the school to make sensible and well thought through decisions.
We are currently in the process of re-writing our curriculum offer for the children. This is an exciting opportunity to offer the children the best possible experiences and learning situations.
