Our major client in York has an exciting opportunity for a Highways Engineer or Highways Technician to join their expanding team, assisting in the delivery of a high quality customer responsive service involving highway, general engineering, transport, and road safety engineering projects.

Great support network from start to finish. Amy got me in straight away to do the paperwork and later on the afternoon went for the interview and got the job. Any issues you have they are easy to contact and they are sorted straight away. No issues with payroll paid on time every week.

I applied for a job with City of York Council via Work with York. I was interviewed by Steve who made me feel at ease straight away. Steve guided me through the process and was in regular contact to help my transition into the council as seamless as possible. Any questions or queries regarding pay, holiday etc. were always answered promptly. I have now been made a permanent employee of the council, however I couldn't have done it without Steve or the rest of the team at Work with York. They are a fantastic company with an extremely friendly an knowledgeable team.

I was really struggling to find work or even get an interview until I got in touch with workwithyork. I spoke to an angel called Annabelle who invited me in to find out what roles would suit me and where my skills were strongest. She then put me in touch with all the right people and explained exactly what to do and where to go. I was offered a job the next day and started the next Monday which was just what I needed. I had been tentatively looking for work when I was contacted by Steve at Work With York about a role they were recruiting which matched a fairly specialist qualification I had. I went in and met with Steve who was really great and put me at ease throughout the process. The rest of the team at Work With York have also been really helpful too with booking time off over Christmas and things like that. I really couldn't recommend Steve and the team at Work With York highly enough.

Annabel and Steve are great people and really care about you as a person, the office as a whole are very friendly and really care about helping you find a job of which they have a great variety and are always available should you need any assistance.
