I sadly had to wave goodbye to my job in hospitality in 2020 due to covid restrictions and a national lockdown. I was unsure of the future of the business with everything going on, and hadn't had to look for a job outside of the hospitality trade in some time so was clueless. I had applied for a position through NRG, but was contacted and put forward for another, after they thought my skills and work experience would be better suited elsewhere. They where very clear with all information and got back to me ASAP with any questions or queries I had. From starting in my new position they have been

Extremely long recruitment process, terrible training on the job, poor communication from the agency and no notice of the end of the contract.
Make promises they fail to deliver on.

Very dissapointed in recruitment process, was passed by 3 different people because they kept going on holidays during my recruitment process, was emailed at 8pm to say my 2nd interview was cancelled and would get more details next day but never heard from them again.
Generally whole recruitment process was chaotic and unprofessional.

They told me that my temporary role had the chance of becoming permanent but that was a total lie - the job was already filled. I was just filling in until the recruited person was available. Utter liars and users. Found out my job was over at 11 on my last day. But not from the agency. They would have had me turning up the following Monday to be turned away at the door.
Avoid these jokers like the plague!

Really enjoyed working at Burberry and would gladly work there again if opportunity was to arise, but the way its handled with no notice of my dismissal until getting named called out is just wrong. I done overtime for Burberry and worked my backside off to get work done and on time but still this did not matter. The company itself is friendly and great atmosphere to work in, but certain things need changed

Poor service!
I'm a business owner looking to find new staff... I arranged to meet Sarah Minto at 3:30 today; it’s now 16:20 and no show... I called the office but she is busy in a meeting... while I sat here waiting for her.
"Please can you send through the job spec and a link to the website and I look forward to meeting you tomorrow at 3.30pm"
I will now find another recruitment business that hopefully turns up.

I am still waiting for someone to contact me after being told at interview that we only needed my DBS clearance for me to start. As I currently hold an enhanced DBS, I saw no problem with that. Unfortunately we are now 2 weeks later and I have repeatedly tried contacting the person who interviewed me and then the person who has taken over the clients from her and still waiting.......this despite signing a contract on the day of interview and a 'definite' start date of one week later. I feel like I'm in limbo, leaving my current job on the promise of starting immediately through NRG .......

It's a shame that I had to go to a different agency to get feedback about a job application I made through NRG. No email or phone call to say that I'd failed my application. Whatever happened to common decency?

I was told there was no more work after two incomplete days. Basically, they overpayed me, they paid me for 17 hours of work(more than what i worked). This is to get you off current benefit claim, only to find yourself making a new claim within a week. Since starting with NRG i have had nothing but trouble.

Had an excellent experience with NRG right from the beginning until I recently got a permanent job. Sarah, the consultant I worked with was very approachable, responsive and pro-active and without her I probably wouldn't have been able to find a job that fits round other commitments. Thank you!

I made a profile and applied for a job on 23/07/2016, then a different job on 22/08/2016. A week later and I had heard nothing from NRG at all. I phoned up and the receptionist was very helpful and gave me the contact details I needed to chase up my applications. However this particular contact made no attempt what so ever to reply to any of my emails. I am sure they are helpful when they need to be but my experience with this recruitment agency was awful. It is now 13/09/2016 and I have still had no reply or feedback about my applications. Complete joke.

My application was immediately picked up and reviewed after applying for a role, online which suits my career background and forward thinking goals - from that point on-wards it was go, go, go!
We had a good in-depth chat about the suitability of the role but also the suitability in me in it.
There were various stages in progression from applying to gaining a face to face interview with the employer but at each stage i had constant telephone and email support with my consultant, supporting information to get me thinking about how i can excel and show who i am at interview as well as progress
