Set in the tranquil countryside of South Yorkshire on the outskirts of Rotherham our par 70 6,096-yard Parkland golf course was established way back in 1904. We welcome visitors plus new additions to our thriving membership at one of the most friendly and inclusive golf clubs in the region.

The tranquil setting of Wath Golf Club means the course is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the challenges of this testing course with its narrow fairways and small greens. The course is flat and a test for all standards of golfers. The club also boasts a well stocked Pro Shop and short game warm-up area plus a welcoming clubhouse which is available for private event bookings.
Services
Aiming for the right hand side of the fairway avoids the trees on the left and opens up the green. Play up the left side of the fairway from the tee to avoid the out of bounds tight to the right. Bunkers left and right of the green make an accurate second shot with a fairway wood or long iron a must to find the green.
Our large 22 acre practice facility provides members and visitors with an opportunity to hone their skills in our multi game improvement area. The five flagged Short Game area is where members and visitors can practice shots up to 120 yards. A twin flagged Short Chipping green chipping allows golfers to practice their short chipping skills.
Limited Visitor Tee Times are available throughout the year. Please call our Pro Shop on 01709 878609 to make a booking. Also available. Golf clinics. Prizes and gifts. Longest drive and nearest the pin competitions. Fully stocked pro shop. Ride-on Buggies and PowaKaddy's are available for hire, at reasonable rates, (advance booking recommended).
Our office staff, club professional and catering team work together to tailor packages to your needs and can provide as much or as little support as you require on the day to make your event flow smoothly. Our services range from golf only to complete event management. We host societies on most week days and Sunday afternoons - either playing 18 or 27 holes if midweek nine holes morning and 18 holes in the afternoon.

We played today in the YLCGA B Team Semi and final. Fabulous course and the pro, ladies section and catering staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went the extra mile to make for a lovely day for everyone involved. Well done to Wath

Love this course, it's tucked away nicely in a peaceful part of the world. Every hole has some quirky features, great design of a course, has a fabulous feel and continuity/flow about the whole course.... Brilliant!
And it was lashing down, the Greens were still superb..... We'll done Wath Golf Club

Good course... nice layout... members etiquette ???
Super course with a nice layout, played on a warm and sunny July afternoon on a twilight rate. Gent in the proshop was so helpful, a real credit to this club. Not the longest of courses at a tad under 6000 yards and par 70, and quite wide open on some holes, but some really nice holes that make you think a bit and some good greens, that were also subtle and fast. I have to say I really enjoyed my round, just a shame 4 members bounced in in front of me on the first, (having played cross country from 11), and then did not let me play through (yes

GREAT COURSE APPALLING FOOD
The course today was in excellent condition for the time of year. We visited it twice a year in our society great it's great value for money and always well presented.
We have eaten at the course in past.
Today we gave it another try big mistake, chips pie and peas, plus a sweet. £5 Hardly a culinary challenge.
The pie was mince and poor quality, indeed upon its arrival I made my excuses paid the bill and left. When we question the quality the answer was well it's cheap "exactly".
We will certainly play the course again, but under no cercmstances consider eating
