Gregg has a wealth of experience, turning professional at the age of 18 becoming the assistant at Sheffield's Abbeydale Golf Club. He moved to Rotherham's Phoenix Golf Club as senior assistant & teaching professional before getting his first head professional job in 1992 at Heworth golf club in York.

Rotherham is a classic parkland golf course set in the expansive, beautiful grounds of Thrybergh Park, the home over the centuries to some of South Yorkshire's most noble families.
Players get an immediate feel to the rolling parkland nature of the course with this pretty downhill hole with a straight fairway lined either side by trees. There is a lovely mature willow on the left of the fairway which as well as looking majestic, can impede your approach to the long, narrow green that's guarded by bunkers left and right.
Visitors are welcome to play at Rotherham Golf Club throughout the week by booking online or through the pro shop.
