Our new 2Simple 'Learning Journey' software is now up and running. We have chosen to introduce this gradually and at specific times to ensure that the children's learning and development continues to be monitored in the best way, and that the team are proficient in the use of the new system. Children moving into a new room will be observed on the new 2Simple, electronic software.
Your child's current red 'Learning Journey' file will then be yours to keep at home. We will keep you informed of any specific changes for your child. The new system requires practitioners to carry out observations on tablets rather than the existing paper format. The electronic format is very similar and nothing has changed regarding how we observe, evidence and monitor your child's learning and interests.

Services
The progress that children make between birth and five is amazing and leaving your child in the care of others is one of the most difficult choices a parent has to make. It will be our privilege to work in partnership with you to support your child in becoming an independent, happy, confident and enquiring learner, laying a firm foundation for future well-being and success.
Our daughter has been attending Little Stars for nearly four years and now; our son for around eight months. We have had such a positive experience with the nursery and can honestly say that we couldn't recommend it enough! From the day our daughter started, the staff made us feel so welcome. They are all so caring and do a fantastic job.
The Parent Committee are a friendly group of parents who meet 3 to 4 times a year. We meet with nursery staff to discuss any ideas, suggestions or requests people have for the nursery. We also help facilitate charity events as well as after nursery events such as the Pie and Pea supper and the Summer BBQ.
