Services
Ashgrove's history can be traced back as far as 1940. The practice was initially set up at 34 Ashgrove Road by George Watson Argo MRCVS. He had previously worked as a veterinary assistant to William Hepburn at Ship Lane in Aberdeen when working horses were based around the docks. Mr Argo moved to Ashgrove Road and set up his own practice to be near the farmers auction markets at Kittybrewster.

At Ashgrove we want to make preventative health care easy and affordable, to help give your pets the best care possible. We believe prevention is better than cure, rather than waiting until an animal is ill and suffering to put things right. Early diagnosis of health problems may help your pet to live a longer and healthier life.

I can not thank this vets enough. They were compassionate, and professional throughout that time they spent with me. After moving three weeks ago, my beautiful Pep had to be put to sleep. They allowed me to have that time with her (even when I didn’t want to say goodbye) the reception staff have always been friendly and efficient. Even though it was the worst time of my life, I can’t thank them enough for looking after my baby till the end.
