Services
Cottontails preschool is run by a committee made up of parents and ex-parents of the preschool. The committee meet once every half-term and help with the smooth running of the preschool, as well as organising fundraising events throughout the year. If you are interested in joining the committee or can help in any way please contact a committee member or speak to our preschool manager Daisy or deputy manager Ceri.
Our Wednesday & Thursday afternoon sessions are for Cottontails aged 3+ and funded 2 year olds. Cottontails children and staff who stay for afternoon sessions bring a packed lunch, eat together and carry on playing and learning in the afternoon too! Cottontails is a 15 hour provider which offers the Universal Entitlement.
Every second Wednesday of the month, we are unable to use the village hall BUT we are able to use a space at Alpington and Bergh Apton Primary school, thanks to staff.
The children have to carry their bags, lunchboxes, wellies etc themselves when we walk to the school so can we please ask that they have suitable size bags that they can manage, rucksacks are good because they can have them on their back, freeing up their hands to carry a lunchbox and hold a partner's hand It would also be great if Sound of the week objects are small on those afternoons so we can pop them in their bag, if not we have to leave them in the cupboard at preschool.
