Newton Flotman Pre-School, is situated in the Village Centre of Newton Flotman, surrounded by playing fields, with ample space for parking. We can be easily found just off the A140. Teaching is outstanding. Staff are well qualified and use their expert knowledge and in-depth understanding of how children learn to support children as they make rapid progress in their learning.

Services
We are a small and friendly team. All the team have relevant qualifications and experience on top of a love for their work. The team are encouraged to continue with their professional development, dependent on their previous experience and current needs of the children. All staff have had recent safeguarding training and there is always, at least, two first aiders present.
Newton Flotman Pre-School, is situated in the Village Centre of Newton Flotman, surrounded by playing fields, with ample space for parking. We can be easily found just off the A140. The pre-school is open to all 2-4 year olds and follows the Early Years Foundations Stage Curriculum. We have weekly themes but plan through observations of the children, basing our planning on the children's own interests.
The Newton Flotman Pre-School committee consists solely of volunteers who are all parents/grandparents/carers, or past parents/grandparents/carers of children of the pre-school. The committee and the manager of the pre-school, meet once or twice a term to plan and discuss events affecting the pre-school.
If your child is staying for a lunchtime session you must provide them with a packed lunch in a named container. All children are eligible to receive free government funding from the start of the term after their third birthday. We will claim this funding on your behalf direct from Norfolk County Council.
At Newton Flotman Preschool we believe that children learn best when they are happy and relaxed doing things that spark their curiosity and create a sense of awe and wonder about the world around them. Children are able to spend time exploring activities that interest them, this encourages children to make sense of the world by experimenting and creates an active learning environment.
