The Morrish's have been frying fish and chips for 75 years. It all started in the corner house at the nearby crossroads. If you leave via the traffic lights you may notice a round window in the corner house on the right - this was for the coal fired frying range's chimney! In about 1950, Stuart Morrish, moved the to the current site.

First time visiting here this evening, and safe to say we will be back! Recently moved to the area from Penzance, as I’m sure you’ll see more of us now that we’re only around the corner.

Not from the area, away on a cheeky weekend away. Morrish’s came up on a search so decided to order. We certainly were not disappointed. We ordered online in advance which was easy, on arrival only had to wait 5 minutes for our order. We are very lucky with our local fish and chip shop at home so they are hard to top, but I must say we were thrilled with our meal. Good size portions, still hot, battered fish was crispy and tasty, lovely curry sauce. If we lived closer we would definitely be back!
