Erm...eep.
We visited the bar in Tyacks (rather than the main hotel or the main restaurant) and it was good for a sit down and a few drinks after a long walk along the be-autiful Cornish coast.
But then we made the mistake of ordering food here. I tried the teriyaki vegetable noodles...and they basically massacred some vegetables until they were a pile of mush and then served them on a hot plate with gloopy sauce and overcooked noodles. I'd just walked for 28km, so I was really hungry...but even hunger couldn't make this slop taste good. I should have ordered a burger as I guess that

The Tyacks hotel (named after a family who owned for it for several decades) is located in the centre of Camborne. It's age and history are impressive being a 16th century coaching inn, the food is good and reasonbly priced. The rooms are comfortable if a little tied. The hotel has two bars and a car park. The breakfast is one of my favourite breakfast in the country, be warned the full Cornish is a hearty affair that's more than most can handle. There are the usual travel inns etc in the area but try something different, pricing average for the standard.
