Our tasteful menu is served daily from 11.30am until 9.00pm and offers a selection of homemade dishes that combine all of your classic favourites, along with a few of our chef's modern dishes which can be found on our daily specials boards. Our restaurant and lounge bar combines the comfort of large bay windows, with the more formal yet inviting restaurant.

I ordered a ciabatta and it was harder than Ron Jeremy's pork sword. The beef was so dry I questioned if it was biltong. The coleslaw was the just a white gloopy goo with no taste I thought maybe the chef was too exited and relieved him self on some cabbage.

Nice place, food tasty, however i cannot understand how possible to be out of chicken breast and not able to make a meal the customer wants. This is unacceptable. So 4 stars only.

Hadn't been here in a while. Restaurant side was light, spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was fairly quick coming out, looked well presented and tasted really. Highly recommended. They headed to the coach bar next door. Just a brilliant atmosphere and cocktails to.

Erm...eep.

We visited the bar in Tyacks (rather than the main hotel or the main restaurant) and it was good for a sit down and a few drinks after a long walk along the be-autiful Cornish coast.

But then we made the mistake of ordering food here. I tried the teriyaki vegetable noodles...and they basically massacred some vegetables until they were a pile of mush and then served them on a hot plate with gloopy sauce and overcooked noodles. I'd just walked for 28km, so I was really hungry...but even hunger couldn't make this slop taste good. I should have ordered a burger as I guess that

The Tyacks hotel (named after a family who owned for it for several decades) is located in the centre of Camborne. It's age and history are impressive being a 16th century coaching inn, the food is good and reasonbly priced. The rooms are comfortable if a little tied. The hotel has two bars and a car park. The breakfast is one of my favourite breakfast in the country, be warned the full Cornish is a hearty affair that's more than most can handle. There are the usual travel inns etc in the area but try something different, pricing average for the standard.
