Our aim at Chigwell & Hainault Synagogue nursery is to offer a secure, caring and stimulating environment in a warm Jewish atmosphere where children can play, enjoy artistic expression and learn to develop their social, emotional and intellectual and physical skills as well as listening and language skills.
This is achieved within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and through the Prime and Specific areas of learning. Our children are taught to respect all members of society, to care for one another, their belongings and themselves. By the time they are ready to leave our Nursery, they will have acquired essential skills, tools and knowledge, which will prepare them for the next stage of their development.

Services
Chigwell & Hainault Synagogue Nursery was established in 1980 and is situated in the Chigwell & Hainault Synagogue. We are a registered Pre-School for 2 - 4 year olds and we are open term time only (plus two weeks Summer Scheme), offering flexible days and hours. Our opening times are: Monday - Friday 9.15 AM - 12.15 pm.
As both a parent and teacher I thought long and hard about which nursery setting I wanted my son to attend. I managed to find a nursery that was warm, inviting and stimulating, which provided a safe, happy and loving environment. The management and staff are skilled in engaging actively with the children, allowing them to create, explore and learn in fun ways.

The Rabbi is great and the community is very friendly. As for the reviewer that said the Shul should move with the times, it has done just that. An Orthodox synagogue isn't going to water down the religion to make it more appealing. The rising number of Orthodox Jews around the world shows it is appealing right now.
