Our full time chef takes pride in providing delicious home cooking. Menus are varied and a selection of appetising choices are available, with special dietary requirements and personal preferences taken into account. Bedrooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and fully furnished and can be easily adapted to accommodate small items of personal furniture if required.

Marchfield House offers a full programme of daily activities, organised and offered by our Social Care Activity Coordinator. Our programme is designed to enrich the lives of residents and tailored to their individual needs. Activities are important because they help to build a sense of community in the home.
Marchfield House is situated in the village of Ferndown. The area is described as one of East Dorset 'special character areas' due to its' sylvan nature. It is also in close proximity to the internationally famous Ferndown Golf Club. Life at Marchfield House is free from day to day worries, isolation and everyday chores.
I am writing to thank you all for the kindness and care shown to our mother. During her time spent with you she was always neat and tidy, well dressed and bright. Despite her illness you all made a wonderful effort to engage with her and to have a laugh and a joke, which is so important given her immense love of life.
