Dedicated residential nursing care in Bournemouth's picturesque Queens Park neighbourhood. From waking you up with open curtains, a smile and your morning cuppa, to fluffing your pillows at night, our friendly team are always on hand for personal and emotional support. Farway Grange has been providing long term and respite care in Bournemouth as an independently operated family care home since 1986.
With over 30 years of experience, we understand the importance of individualised service, privacy and a residence that feels like a home from home. We offer the highest levels of nursing care and personal attention whilst retaining that elusive, homely environment that is so important to our residents and their relatives in maintaining the high quality of life and dignity that they deserve.

Services
We provide a warm and caring environment where attention is given throughout the day and night. Bespoke care plans are created for each individual, taking every aspect of their care needs into account, to ensure that their physical, mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs are met. Relatives are encouraged to engage in this process.
Whether doing your own research or choosing from a list, it is often difficult to know where to begin: Location? Price? Inevitably it is a combination of all of these factors, with relative importance varying based on the situation. Sometimes respite care may be a welcome break for at home carers as well as being a welcome break for the service user.
We realise that funding for care can be complicated so we make every attempt to be as flexible as possible. Whether your funding arrangements will be private (self-funded) or local authority funded, please feel free to discuss options with our manager as we can often help with solutions involving a mixture of funding streams available.
In addition to enjoying our landscaped gardens and tranquil Koi Pond, residents are actively encouraged to participate in activities and socials as part of our wider family and community. Residents are encouraged to maintain personal links and engage with the local community through participation in events and activities.
