We continue to take all necessary precautions and follow government advice to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. Follow us on our social channels and stay up to date with all the happenings at Rapport Housing and Care! Do you require 24 hour care and support or are you largely independent, in need of a little bit of support?

Would you prefer to rent a bedsit within a small house or to buy or rent an apartment within a scheme? Extra care housing refers to tenancy-based accommodation where the tenant lives in their own apartment - for which they pay rent - but receives care and support from a care provider of their choice.
Services
In 2000, the organisation purchased nine former Kent County Council care homes. As a result of this acquisition, it grew significantly from an annual turnover of approximately 650,000 to 9.2M and the number of employees from 60 to 420. In 2001 the Care Standards Act 2000 was implemented requiring all new build care homes and nursing homes to provide single rooms with a minimum of 12sq meters usable floor-space plus en-suite bathroom facilities.

Our care homes offer short term (respite) and permanent stays for older people who find themselves no longer able to manage at home. Our care is person-centred, with a great deal of emphasis on encouraging independence and ensuring day to day life is enriched and just as you like it to be.
Caring Companions is a home care service provided by Rapport Housing & Care. We provide older people with affordable and caring solutions through a range of high-quality personal home care services and we are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who regulate our services. Our supported homes are ideal for older people who need a little extra support to maintain their daily lifestyle but want to remain independent. Residents have their own rooms (and often their own ensuite bathrooms) within a house and they share communal areas, such as a dining and sitting room, with the other residents.
