St Paul's house in Dupouy Avenue, Quatre Bornes is a large care home that accommodates 24 couples and 16 single people.
Services
In the summer of 1982 a young nurse, Mico Bienvenu, affectionately known as Mico, was given a very clear vision concerning the needs and welfare of elderly people. His calling was to establish a residential home where the aged could be cared for in a loving Christian environment.

His vision was to provide support to people of all faiths and indeed to those with no faith at all, the emphasis is on the care given not on the beliefs of those receiving it.Feeling compelled to begin somewhere, Mico opened a Senior Citizens Club, in 1984, whilst continuing to research the possibility of establishing a local permanent residential home.
Oak House, Beech House and Cedar House are registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission to provide care for older people over the age of 65 years old that are frail or suffer from dementia. Homely accommodation (Oak House - 13 beds, Beech House - 28 beds & Cedar House - 33 beds).

Medical & Social care (working in partnership with the GPs, Community Nurses, Community Psychiatrist Nurses, Nutritionists, Physiotherapists and other professional teams).Physical, Emotion, Social, Psychological and Spiritual support are provided by our trained staff. We arrange educational trips to sea side, historical places and any of our residents' destination.
Many people think you need to be an expert when caring for a person with dementia. On the contrary, imagine if you are old, confused and in need of someone to care for you. What sort of person would you choose to look after you? I am sure that you would agree that you would rather have someone who is kind, compassionate, loving and caring attending to your needs.
I feel a bit confused, muddled up and keep forgetting, where I am, who I am and what I'm supposed to do. I cannot understand the gradual change in me as I know I used to be very much in control of everything. In fact I have raised a family, had a responsible job and have been a leading figure in the local community.
Yes, you can during office hours or at anytime as a safe key holder can be contacted out of office hours. Yes, we have a pay phone available in the home or residents can have their personal telephones in their rooms that they pay for. No, our fees are fully inclusive. The only extra charges are for personal items such as newspapers, hairdressing, toiletries, social outings and holidays.

Totally blown away to how wonderful this care home is. My mum is here and every member of staff makes the team force outstanding. Love the mixture of ages that care for the residents , they show them grace and dignity. I know my mum is in safe hands and am truly thankful to you all. And I highly recommend this care home.

No uniform? Caravan in car park and night staff overwhelmed with too many patients.
2 - 3 staff at night for all the patients. Isint that breaking the law????
Staff heard shouting and swearing at other staff members and managers can't seem to do anything important if needed too. Eg emails or things to sort for people

The staff at this home go above and beyond to meet the needs of the elderly whom are in their care. They are always happy, supportive and genuinely care about all of the residents!
