Toilet hardly worked in our room. Rooms get a bit stuffy. Located next to a very busy street so its a bit hard to sleep with the traffic. No private parking on site. They advertise free breakfast and coffee but dont offer this service. Staff could be more courteous with customers. If Edinburgh is your destination its worth it getting something in the city as this is about 20 minutes west.

Room would become too hot if the windows were closed but the busy street made it difficult to sleep with the windows open. Staff told me to wait for room service later in the morning to get extra towels as we didn’t have enough for our room for everyone to shower.

Super place. Clean big room, friendly and helpful staff. No breakfast but we understand why. Good location for buses into the centre and within walking distance to the zoo. Very good value for money. Our daughter loved the hotel.

Room was fine for what we needed, room to the back so was looking into someone's house. Definitely had to shut the curtains when dressing or undressing

Shocked that in these times no compensation is offered considering my child had to isolate with Covid. Terrible service...avoid if you don't want to be ripped off. Tried to speak and email and just received a cold and computer says no response. In addition, I had a call at almost midnight when I was sleeping from desk staff asking where I was. 🤷

Staff are friendly enough but the owners are very rude and unfriendly. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and they never let us use the kitchen for refrigeration and the microwave. The doors were locked even though it was meant for us who were staying in the top level rooms. I would highly not recommend not because of the staff but the owners. The owner always insists the guests wear masks but never wears one himself and has no exemption tag visible.

A Hidden gem in Edinburgh. Clean and tidy and the staff is very helpful. The morning Breakfast is diverse and the food is tasty. Our stay was very calm and relaxing and we will be surely returning here soon. The extension lounge to our room had some great views of the garden. Finally, the manager Kinga was very helpful and understanding and made sure our stay had a great experience.

Hotel is a bit old, though very clean and well presented. Staff are really great and accomodating. There is no noise at night as it's outside city centre.
No parking is available on site, though the street adjacent has no parking restrictions.
The heating seems to always be on on the top floor.
Electric shower (very noisy) which I felt bad using at 12 midnight because of neighbouring room.
Breakfast was actually good and fresh.
Easy check in and check out.
