Westbury Baptist Pre School
Westbury Baptist Pre-school provides a safe, caring and cheerful environment in which children can learn and develop through play. We welcome children who are 3, or will be turning 3 during the term you wish them to start up to the age of 5.

We believe that every child in our care is unique, an individual and as such should be given every opportunity to reach their full potential by allowing them to progress at their own particular stage of development. He always come out pf Pre-School with a smile on his face and happily chats about what he has been doing.
Services
The Management Committee, elected annually by the Church Meeting at Westbury Baptist Church, has overall responsibility for the running of the Pre-school. Our Committee is jointly chaired by Anne MacFarlane and Becca Finamore. The day to day running of the Pre-school is the responsibility of our Team Leader, Angie Loughlin, a qualified primary school teacher with the help of her team of Early Years Practitioners.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is mandatory for all OFSTED registered settings and schools caring for children under the age of 5. A Unique Child - every child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Enabling Environments - the environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children's development and learning.
Westbury Baptist Pre-School encourages an atmosphere where communication occurs readily between the pre-school and home. You can find us on Facebook, where there are regular updates of things happening at Pre-School. In the foyer there is a welcome board displaying notices and posters to share information with parents/carers.
Westbury Baptist Pre-school has a wide range of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the Pre-school and to advise parents and children in areas of interest. These policies are updated regularly by the Committee and staff and are available on request from the Pre-school office.

We at Westbury Baptist Pre-school consider that the welfare of the child is paramount and it is the duty of members, staff and volunteers to implement this policy, and to ensure that it has in place appropriate procedures to safeguard the well being of children and young people and protect them from abuse.
