Services
Children enjoy their time at the nursery. Staff know the children well and use assessments effectively to plan activities which are both challenging and fun. All children make good progress. Staff are good role models and promote children's language development well. They are deployed efficiently to support children's play and promote their safety at all times.
Bright Stars - Littlebury provides children with plenty of access to natural light and free flow to exciting outdoor play areas from our two carefully designed and furnished buildings. This enables children of all ages to access our outside learning areas in all weathers throughout the year.
The variety of toys, equipment and activities on offer reflect our commitment to ensuring that children have stimulating experiences and enjoy their days with us.Children's toys and materials have been specifically chosen to encourage children's purposeful play, we promote the use of open ended resources such as blocks and the use of natural resources which capture the child's interests.

We have a large main hall and a small room which is used for small group work and some of our extra-curricular activities, such as French. Our large garden ensures that children have the benefit of free-flow into a rich and exciting outdoor area where learning continues. We provide pre-school care and education for children from 2-5 years daily from 09:00-15:00 for 39 weeks of the year (term-time) only.
Staff use careful observations to make precise assessments of children's progress. They use children's interests effectively to plan interesting activities that help them to achieve the next steps in their development. Staff have a good knowledge of how children learn and develop. The environment is rich in print and posters, and staff provide good-quality resources that help children to practise early writing skills while they play in all areas.
Our aim at Bright Stars Nurseries is to ensure that children enjoy every day with us having fun in a caring and nurturing environment while they grow and develop into bright stars of the future; achieving the very best that they can be. We encourage children's learning and development through providing a enabling environment with activities and opportunities for them to explore, seek challenges and solve problems while they enjoy their day.
