The joy and reward of lifelong learning take time. That time is called childhood, spent with people who understand and value it, in a stimulating environment that promotes it. This is where life at Dallington begins! The children in our Nursery are taught by qualified teachers working with long-serving, experienced NVQ3 qualified assistants.
On entering Middle School Dallington children are encouraged to take even more responsibility both for their own learning and as a group member. DCs were encouraged in non-competitive way and flourished. They left the school with what I felt was a genuine love of learning and self motivation which has served them well at secondary.

That time is called childhood, spent with people who understand and value it, in a stimulating environment that promotes it.' At Dallington, our ethos is to ensure that every child enjoys a child-centred, creative, holistic and ambitious education, designed to develop the whole, unique child and prepare them for their onward educational journey.
Dallington was founded in 1978 by Mogg Hercules MBE, a maverick and an innovator who believed that children should be listened to and included in their learning, that they should be encouraged to challenge and to be challenged in a secure and stimulating environment that promotes discovery and values a love of learning.
Children and their individual qualities are at the heart of everything we do at Dallington. We pride ourselves on teaching our children in relatively small groups and giving them the opportunity to develop as valued individuals and to foster a love of learning. Founded by Mogg Hercules MBE - maverick, innovator, passionate educator who paved the way.
In Transition we aim to foster independent learning, develop key skills and nurture creative expression, within a supportive learning environment and through cross-curricular topic work. Dance and Drama are introduced to the already broad curriculum, to fulfil the academic, physical, creative and social needs of each individual child.
On entering Middle School, Dallington children are encouraged to take even more responsibility both for their own learning and as a group member. As our curriculum is topic based, it enables children to develop their research and problem solving skills. This allows them to become autonomous learners which in turn builds their self esteem and self confidence.

I used to go to this school about 2 or 3 years ago. I still remember the good people, teachers and friends. I wish I had stayed there longer, but it is a great environment to grow up in. I have moved to a new school and now I am moving again. It’s my third time moving in Canada.🤣 Though, it is sad moving again.
