Services
Chants Vets was established in 2006 by Sarah Mark and Ena Franks. The practice quickly became popular and we undertook an extensive refurbishment, acquiring the next door property. We provide a full service to our clients; medical, surgical treatments; diagnostic testing and imaging. Orthopaedic and advanced dental procedures are also carried out in house here at Chants Vets.
Chants Vets provide veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse consultations by appointment throughout the day. Please telephone to find out availability. If pets need more investigations, we can provide in-house diagnostic testing including lab testing, advanced ultrasonography and digital X-rays.

A wide range of surgical procedures are carried out here at Chants Vets, from neutering to orthopaedics, including advanced techniques for canine cruciate surgery.Routine dental care is essential, but we also offer tooth-saving endodontic ('root-canal') procedures, treatment for puppy malocclusions and orthodontics.

I have used Chants vets for around 15 years. Sarah Mark is the most wonderful vet and caring person. My visit last week was a sad one as my cat was making his final visit. This was dealt with with dignity and compassion. I cannot sing their praises enough.

People without a heart work there. They are not interested in animals but your money. I was with my dog on Friday and I asked them to see my dog in the mouth because he had a stick wound that got stuck in him on Thursday. They did not give any drugs and vaccinated my dog. After this situation, the dog for 3 days had a fever, swollen mouth and was depressed, moved slowly, ate and drank but did not behave as before. Before the visit with the dog it was not so bad and after the visit it was very bad with the dog. I do not recommend to anyone, heartless people just want money I do not recommend

Tried to charge me for unnecessary procedures on a 'maybe'. I believed my dog had a trapped nerve and needed nails cutting. I was told my dog was unnecessarily suffering, needed x-rays, leg ops and abortion.
I was disscusted at her attitude and her diagnosis was brutal.
I went for a 2nd opinion at another vets which proved my conclusion of a simple sprain. There is no need to abort the puppies and no sign of leg problems.
I believe Chants vets were playing on my love to milk me for money at the expense of my lovely sweet animal.
A barbaric place with a bad attitude.

Best vets I have ever used by miles. A small practice, very personal, the vet (sarah) is very caring, (she obviously loves animals) as well as being very profesional. When i take my cats for a booster she always takes time to check mouth eyes, heart etc... I can't fault it, brilliant.

Limited knowledge of small animals. No caring attitude at all from the vet towards people's feelings for their pets. There are far better vets if you are willing to travel a bit further.

We went here some time last year with our pet rat. We have never been back. Their only solution was to 'put it down' there and then, we only went in for a check up!

We went for a second and third opinion (to be sure) neither of whom even suggested such a measure, they simple gave us a course of medication. They both said that putting an animal down is a last resort and would not recommend it unless the animal was suffering beyond help.

We had recently moved Hull from having an amazing vets where we were, it turns out most vets are like our old vets but not this one.

I guess the

After some horrible experiences with other vets practices in Hull I am happy to say that this place gets 5 paws!
Friendly receptionists, happy to help with general queries anf chatty whilst you are waiting.
The vet was professional yet friendly and kind, remembering me and my pet from previous visits. Calmed down my somewhat nervous cat (and her owner) putting us at ease and treating the problem thoroughly.
Great service and brilliant value.
