Services
At Wombridge Primary School we believe that all children and staff should feel secure, valued and happy at school. We offer placements for teacher trainees who are completing a PGCE or teacher training model through local universities. At Wombridge Primary School we feel very strongly that our school should be part of the community.
Our mission at Wombridge is to educate our pupils within a safe, happy, caring, and inclusive environment, where all are valued and encouraged to fulfil their potential in all aspects of school life. Our pupils are developed and challenged holistically giving due consideration to their academic, social and emotional needs, enabling them to be the very best they can be.
Our vision is that our pupils learn to lead the way to life, aspiring and understanding that they can contribute to society by aiming for good qualifications which leads to a good job. We see this vision at the heart of the relationships between everyone in the school community which is typically diverse, as is the case in most of modern urban Britain.
At Wombridge Primary School we believe that all children and staff should feel secure, valued and happy at school. We strive to ensure that children are supported in all aspects of emotional health and wellbeing and they know who they can talk to if they are feeling sad or worried. Our Pastoral Support and Attendance Manager, Mrs Whittingham, has vast experience and is available to give support and advice on a wide range of well-being matters.
At Wombridge Primary School we feel very strongly that our school should be part of the community and we are proactive in developing links locally, nationally and globally. Working in partnership with others enables our pupils to meet a wide range of people and to learn about being part of a wider team.
