Here at Small Wonders Day Nurseries (Preston Ltd), we are a fun, friendly nursery and pre-school for children aged 0 - 5. We've been a part of our community for over 10 years. We have two settings based in Preston conveniently located for access to both the city centre and routes out of Preston.

Originally established in 1996 with a licence to provide child care to just 42 children at its Hawkins Street setting; Small Wonders Nurseries (Preston) Limited expanded to a two setting day nursery facility in 2004 And is now able to deliver child-centric child care to children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years old.
I set up Small wonders in 1996 and haven't looked back since. My two children attended the nursery themselves, since then they have grown up but often come back to visit. My youngest Daughter now works for Small Wonders. I feel hugely privileged to have been a part of so many children's early years and look forward to many more years to come.
To nurture your precious offspring through their early years. From young hatchlings, through to migrating ducks ready to start their next step at school. Our vision at Small Wonders is to provide all children with a nurturing and stimulating environment to ensure that every child looks forward to coming to nursery; which in turn provides parents with the peace of mind, that their child is happy.
At Small Wonders we are a family and truly believe every child in our care is an extension of our family. Often little ducklings who attended our setting as Hatchlings return as mature ducks for holiday club as well as after school club. In the recent years we have found that many of our parents were in fact hatchlings at our setting themselves.
At Small Wonders we recognise that we hold sensitive/confidential information about children and their families and the staff we employ. This information is used to meet children's needs, for registers, invoices and emergency contacts. Any information shared with the staff team is done on a 'need to know' basis and treated in confidence.
