All staff are subjected to an enhanced criminal record check prior to working with children. We offer your children indoor and outdoor activities designed to develop children's spiritual, emotional, physical, social and intellectual capabilities. Services
Discovery Vine Childcare was founded in 2001 and specialises in out of school care and pre-school education for children aged 2 to 12 years. We endeavour to ensure that the childcare and education we provide is safe, fun and of high quality for all children. Discovery Vine is committed to work towards all of these outcomes, ensuring the welfare and happiness of all the children in our care so they are able to play, learn and develop fully.

Discovery Vine Pre-School and Out of School Clubs deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. This theme is about how children develop: they are all different, but should be treated equally. Positive relationships and good communication are vital. The children need to learn about risks and safety, how to make good choices, and how to stick to boundaries.
Discovery Vine aims to provide high quality, affordable and accessible childcare for parents who have childcare needs due to work, training or other commitments; for parents who would like to enter work or training but have difficulty in doing so due to a lack of childcare and for parents who would like their children to have opportunities to play and socialise in a safe environment out of school hours.
Discovery Vine operates a Holiday Club at Longsands Community Primary School during all school holidays. The club is registered to care for children from the age of 3 and offers both full day and sessional childcare. Discovery Vine operates a holiday club at Longsands Community Primary School, Cottam Primary School and at Lordsgate Church of England School, Burscough, in their designated buildings for children aged 2+.
