Exeter Physio sports, spinal and rehabilitation clinic has been providing the highest level of care for over 40 years. We have a large city centre clinic in Exeter including a rehab gym, a clinic in Sidmouth and hydrotherapy is available at Wonford Hospital. All of these have easy parking nearby. All our physiotherapists are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council.

Our physios can assess and treat a wide range of problems. However, each therapist will have an area of specific interest and many are highly trained in certain areas. The list below will give you some details and a guide to who to see. Graduated in 1991 from the University of East London. After working for the NHS and private sector in London he moved to Devon in 1996.

Physiotherapy is a science-based healthcare profession which views movement as central to health and well being. A physiotherapist's aim is to identify and to make the most of movement ability by health promotion, preventive advice, treatment and rehabilitation. Treatment may consist of manual therapy, massage, manipulation, soft tissue release, exercises and movement re-education to name just a few techniques.
For the quickest recovery, our team of clinicians really come to the fore with physiotherapy, massage, podiatry, acupuncture and links with trainers. This means we offer a 'one-stop-shop' for your rehabilitation, plus improved performance with excellent communication between all members of the team.
Acupuncture is a holistic approach to treatment developed over 2000 years ago but recently supported by modern research in the Western world. Nick and Sue both use acupuncture as part of their physiotherapy treatment. The traditional Chinese philosophy is that our health is dependent on the body's energy (qi) moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of meridians.
