The simpler problems sometimes need only one session to find out what is wrong and put you on the road to recovery.

The examination may involve looking at parts of the body distant from your pain. For example, a knee problem may relate to abnormal foot positioning.

Leah performed miracles on my back at short notice and complying with Covid-19 restrictions. Thank you very much!

I have visited Leah Mears for almost 10 years, from a Plymouth Practice to her own Ashburton Practice and she has fixed me on many occasions.
I cannot recommend Leah highly enough and believe she can treat absolutely everyone (as long as YOU, the patient, completes all the exercises given)!

After injuring my knee at work, other 'specialists' had told me it was mearly a strain and not to worry about.
I had a couple of sessions with Leah who was convinced it was a cartilage tear and advised me on what to do next. An mri scan confirned her diagnosis, after others said it definitely wasn't, I am now awaiting surgery. Leah's knowledge along with her professional yet friendly approach has been much appreciated in what has been quite a stressful situation. Thanks very much.

Leah gave me excellent treatment my for my back. In a single visit she was able to identify, solve and offer ways to prevent the aliment repeating. Before I saw her I couldn't bend to put on my own socks or shoes and after that was a thing of the past. Not only was she incredibly proficient in her discipline but also relaxed, friendly and jovial. I cannot offer a higher recommendation. Craig Haufek

I arrived at Leah's clinic, from a recommendation from a fellow ultra runner. I was quite broken and couldn't run 4 miles without any pain. Leah had a professional but understanding approach to my injury. Having my injury identified with a very thorough examination, a programme of rehab was formed. Acupuncture, massage, personal exercise plan to strengthen weakness, whilst as a runner not being told to stop running was music to my ears !! A steady progression and increase in miles, led me to finally being discharged this week. Today I have run 18 miles totally pain free. So Leah a huge THANK YOU

Having seen many physios over the years with a painful lower back, Leah immediately spotted my problem which no one else had (one leg quite a bit shorter than the other) she organised proper ‘homework’ exercises, massage and inserts for my shoes. As long as I follow that advice I am pain free. Leah is friendly and professional and I shall miss my visits. Highly recommended.
