Lands End Cottage is a delightful, luxury cottage with superb views and a great location in the beautiful, peaceful Rusland Valley, in the heart of the Lake Districts. Comfortable spacious bedrooms, large gardens and wildflower meadow, living space with fantastic views and a warm welcome await!

Couples, families, small groups on business or pleasure, walkers, climbers, wet boots, dogs, muddy bicycles, motorbikes, cherished vehicles and even canoes, are all welcome at Lands End Cottage. And we can provide those wonderful little extras such as flowers, special cakes, hand-made chocolates and even elite catering!
Services
As you enter the cottage from the courtyard into the hall, there are spaces for shoes and coats with the two bedrooms and family bathroom on this level. The spacious master bedroom is bright and airy with high ceilings, finished with a king bed and complemented by an en-suite shower room. A favourite for many guests is sitting and watching the great variety of birds which feed outside the window.
Living in such a peaceful, beautiful location we cannot but believe in protecting the environment to ensure that it is still here for our grandchildren and beyond. We have replaced all the plastic bottled toiletries with locally made solid shampoos and conditioners, jersey milk soaps, shower steamers, bombs, and melts.
We are approximately 4 miles from the A590, 40 minutes away from the M6. Turn off the A590 at the Haverthwaite crossroads then follow the Grizedale Forest signs until you see a sign for Crosslands to the right. Turn right then immediately right again. From Windermere station, walk, or taxi, to the ferry and cross to the west shore, By pre-arrangement we can collect you from Ferry House.

Great property that is dog friendly. Has a large garden and conjoining small field. Comes with lots of extras like chocolate drops for hot drinks, bread maker with different flours, various jams, eggs, etc. Some walks within walking distance and not too far from the lakes.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband, 4 year old daughter and two dogs, we had such a lovely time!
The cottage is like a home from home, spotlessly clean and very spacious. We loved the thoughtful finishing touches from the welcome pack including delights like fresh bread, jam and eggs, to the bath bombs and toiletries.
The location is fabulous, so peaceful and quiet; my little girl particularly loved the free range chickens roaming about in the garden.
We will definitely be back again when we are next in the Lakes now we have discovered this gem, thank you Andy and Rob!

It was a pleasant enough place. We were able to take 3 dogs which we were very happy about. Nice scenery.
