Nice hotel, road is busy and used as a racetrack!!! Large rooms, bar open but restaurant closed at the moment. Decoration is ok but needs a bit of work in places. Rooms large and cheap at the moment. Would recommend the hotel for short stays.

Great place.nice and quiet,good clean room
Staff very helpfull,bend over backwards to help.A great area to walk your dog,if needed.Breakfast was good value for money,under the circumstances. ie the pandemic. I would definitely recommend and will be using again.ln fact we didn't want to leave.5stars from Tracey & Steve..

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst working at the Airport. Great location and the staff were so helpful throughout. Amanda on reception printed out some important work documents for me that I'd forgotten and was extremely helpful! Will definitely stay again when working nearby. Thanks.

After reading reviews I was looking forward to staying here however I found the room not very clean. It smelt musty and damp. Sheets and duvet were musty maybe first time used since reopening. Wudnt recommend this place

The Hotel was in an awesome location, ample parking, good views, and staff members super friendly and helpful, the facilities were good and room was nice and decent sized will use this hotel again next time I pop down for anything. Absolutely Amazeballs

Lovely staff. Our room was clean and had all we needed for a nice cup of tea/coffee after a 4 hour drive.Also had iron,fan,small iron board and a hair dryer.Bar was also nice and clean. Breakfast in the morning had quite a good variety of food. Couldnt fault this lovely place at all.

All the reception staff were very helpful. The 2 stars were given to them. We booked 3 rooms and stayed for 3 days. Room 1- an 'L' Shaped room. The bedsheets were not washed/Clean as I found some hair on the 1st day in my Children's room. The toilet seat cover was smaller than the commode which means when you sit, your skin actually touches the commode (partially). Room 2 - the toilet seat cover is not attached and kept aside which falls over when we tend to close. Room 3- my PIL's. No issues as per them. The communal area floor looked very unclean. All the rooms smelt bad. I am fully aware of

The hotel is very clean, COVID-19 safe, and well situated for a visit to Barry or the airport - but it is the staff that really set this hotel apart. Every staff member we met was friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. We visit South Wales a lot so we’ll definitely use the Celtic International Hotel as a base in the future. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Reasonable for a bed for the night. Unfortunately no restaurant available but they will provide a variety of takeout menus and kindly provide crockery and cutlery for use in your room. Breakfast on offer was a breakfast bag (£5.50 extra) but didn't give it a try so can't comment.
