Dirty and outdated room. Black mold on the showers tiles and ceiling. Extractor fan not working and judging by paint peeling off ceiling had not been working for a long time.
Hole in floor under carpet which you can lose your footing in during night time bathroom trip.
Coffee machine not cleaned and dispensed brown water.
Room overlooked by staff caravans.
Breakfast was good.
Reported issues to staff and was fobbed off initially but eventually offered a £10 discount.
Asked to speak to manager but was refused but did get a phone call 2 days later.
Despite promises to look into my issues

The hotel is lovely and I enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was huge! There was some confusion on morning one as I'm vegetarian, not vegan, and having asked for an egg in the veggie breakfast it didn't come, but it was quickly rectified. Also the bed wasn't very hard which was a pity but will suit some. I know some people think the road noise is too loud but seriously at night it's fine and the location is brilliant for getting anywhere by car. Recommended.

It's ok... That's as far as I'd go... Our room was boiling, boiling hot. When I asked if we could change I was told that the hotel is full 🤪 There was nobody else there! He said I can sleep on the lawn if I like... 😱. It was exceptionally hot! But I didn't get a winks sleep here, partly the heat, partly the road noise. I rather suspect that if it had not been so hot I'd give them 4 stars because everything else was good. Good food, nice and friendly, clean.
