We are open for take-aways and deliveries from 5pm-9pm Tuesday - Sundays. And, for Dine-in (when tiers permit) from 6pm, in our downstairs restaurant only (upstairs closed for now). We have 2 set dining times now so choose from either 6pm arrival or 8pm onwards.
For your safety, we have a disinfectant door mat, 1m+ between tables (screens where appropriate), Hand Sanitizer Stations and Masks available should you wish to wear when chatting between courses.We also have non-contact take-away and delivery available. Every table has a scanable QR code which takes you to our menu online should you wish to avoid handling our (frequently cleaned) menus.

Chaba being the Thai word for the Hibiscus flower, we are situated across two floors in what used to be the old Thai Orchid, just off the corner of The High Street and West St. Helen Street. We strive to offer the very best in Thai Food to either enjoy in our redecorated, modern restaurant, collect as a take-away or have delivered to your home or work-place.

Love the food from here. I could eat here everyday from the restaurant. All food is freshly cooked which is better than other places that re heat pre prepared food. What makes it nice is you can choose how you want your ingredients and if something you don’t like you just let the staff know. Even if you want it spicier! Staff are polite and friendly. There are too many dishes to recommend to try. It’s good to see they are practising safe covid guidelines and don’t be afraid to come eat in the restaurant or even order a take away. Food arrived in a very good timely manner and hot even considering

Stayed in Abingdon for a week. Been to this restaurant for business lunch and dinner with friends. The lady with glasses and long hair was absolutely terrible. She’s rude and unfriendly. No wonder they have so many negative reviews on google. I worked in Thailand for years and I could tell if the food’s authentic. All the seafoods are overcooked, noodles/stir fry are burnt and the curry is watery and bland.

I went for a dinner with my friends last night because we all love Thai food!
In the restaurant, a staff called Lim was so cheerful and welcoming, such a shame that rest all do not have the insight of business strategy; they do not understand neither what the customer is asking with them nor how to provide hospitality to them. I pity for the person who runs this business!
The team lead for that night was so rude and we couldn't notice a smile on her face towards customers rather she was like a warden for the prisoners and her body language also fit for that, she bossed up with us for choosing

My verdict so far is the food is very delicious at least from what I ordered. Tom kha soup with chicken and pad kee mao. The pad kee mao wasn't what I was use to as they used different noodles but never the less very delicious and authentic. Will definetly be frequenting this establishment when I return to Abingdon
