Butterflies Day Nursery

We provide high quality nursery and out of school care for young children aged between 3 months and 11 years. We offer a "common sense" and affordable approach to childcare, supporting parents and carers in producing children who are happy, confident, inquisitive, interested and enthusiastic about life and the challenges they encounter.

Being an environmentally friendly nursery we feel is important to help our children and future generations. Make our own wet wipes - we are proud to have been making our own eco-friendly baby wipes for the last couple of years, rather than using shop bought ones.

Grow our own vegetables and flowers - we have allotments and potting sheds at both nurseries, so as well as producing our own organic food for the children to try, we can teach children where certain foods come from and grow things which can be used in activities within the nursery.

Our staff are the most important part of our settings. Each staff member is rigorously selected to ensure that they possess the correct skills and aptitude to uphold our high standards of care, but also to maintain a happy, caring and fun environment. With ongoing training and evaluation we ensure that all of our staff continue to maximise the quality of care they offer you and your child.

Butterflies Day Nurseries has two conveniently located nurseries within Bridgwater; one on Bower Lane and one at Woodlands Court Business Park, Bristol Road. Both settings provide a high standard of childcare, with our main aim being to make your little one feel as loved and cared for as they do at home.

We believe the natural environment provides children with the freedom and opportunity to learn through exploration and self-directed play. Confidence and emotional intelligence are an important basis for personal development and these attributes are nurtured in a natural learning environment where children are able to develop their curiosity, and creativity, as well as build an awareness and respect of natural living things.
