Services
These areas are focused on heavily in the 0-3 years. They are referred to as "foundations for future learning" as success in the other specific areas is dependent on the child being secure in the Prime Areas. A large part of our role is continual assessment of your child to ensure that their needs are fully met and they ultimately achieve their full potential.
Links to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to apply for 30 hours funding, and tax free childcare and information on 15 hr free childcare for 2 year and 3-5 year old funding. Childcare vouchers schemes accepted through parents employment. There are a further 570 hours available to three and four year olds for qualifying families.
At Forest School all children are viewed as equal and unique, they are given the opportunity to explore and discover their environment, experiencing appropriate risks and challenges. Children are able to choose and initiate their own learning, and in doing so develop positive relationships with themselves, others and their natural world.
All of the daily meals your little ones receive at The Brambles Day Nursery are freshly cooked in the Brambles kitchen. There's nothing better than good old fashioned home cooked food and you can rest assure that none of your children's meals will be bought in. We are committed to providing your child with a balanced healthy diet with the freshest locally sourced ingredients we can find.
We realise that whether you are coming to the nursery for the first time or transferring from another setting, it is a significant transition for you and your child, and one that needs to be handled with care and sensitivity. This may be your first experience of nursery life and in many cases when your child starts with us, it may be the longest time you have been away from your son or daughter.
