A lovely place to eat. We were there to lunch to celebrate a friends 70th . The atmosphere is good, the service excellent. We nearly all had different main courses. The waitress serving us remember exactly what each person ordered. Birthday girl and I had a starter. The food is excellent and you can watch it being prepared I was fascinated . It is busy so you need to book.

A day earlier we had ventured down the path that brings one to wonderful Castlehaven, an unexpected culinary destination, only to find that despite being all outside, it hadn't manage to open yet. The chef behind it, Adam Fendyke, is mainly responsible for putting cookery in Ventnor on the map. He also has a place called Tramezzini in town. Having sussed out that they do a take out offer in the weekend, I slipped in an order for pick up just before the ferry back. And, I'm very glad I did. The menu was cleverly designed to be eaten by hand. The bao bun first coarse was a true delight: sesame, soft

Kind and attentive service and a surprisingly delicious meal, being at the center of a touristic area. Had a crab macaroni for starter, which was very flavourful and the crab meat tasted fresh. Next, a huge steak burger, great portion, beef cooked to perfection with a side of crispy French fries and aioli. Last but not least, finished my dinner with a superb chocolate fondant, couldn't have asked for more.
