We are happy to try and source a certain frame that you might have seen in a magazine or the latest celebrity wearing.
We are able to dispense glasses from a prescription provided by Clare and Howard or by using an external prescription from any other optician. We can supply almost any type of lens as we work closely with lots of different quality manufacturers allowing us to source a lens type which is specific for your needs.
It may surprise you to know that most people are suitable to try contact lenses. With so many different types and materials available to us now, at Clare and Howard we can fit most patient's prescriptions and needs. Whether for full or part time wear, for sports, holidays or social activities we can source contact lenses from any manufacturer allowing us to find the perfect lens to suit you.

I am usually very fussy with my glasses since I have to have them on all the time . I chose the drive-safe Zeiss lenses with a titanium frame. I looked at all the reviews and rang a few opticians in Lancaster and Carnforth. I was given ridiculous quotes too !!. Then I contacted Clare and Howard as they had the Zeiss lenses there , and to my delight these were on offer. I really enjoyed the whole process as it is never easy to find the right glasses!! I was delighted by the professionalism, the service. the care and attention , the choice and the options given to me during my time there. No pushing
