The Marine Pub has been established for over 40 years. We are situated just a 2 minute walk from the seafront, 5 minutes from the Pier, and 5 minutes from the town centre. We offer you a warm welcome and are on hand to ensure that you receive a great experience. Food at the Marine is of a very high standard, with a large varied menu along with a varied selection of specials to choose from.
For a relaxing drink, you can choose between the lovely old oak bar, or the comfortable lounge area furnished with settees and arm chairs. Our secluded patio garden is a delightful suntrap with our flowers coming into bloom. We do have a covered area for our customers who smoke. We have two separate dining areas but should you prefer, you are also welcome to eat either in the bar, lounge or garden areas.

Have been there only in the evenings to be welcomed into a warm and cosy atmosphere. Soft ambient lighting and traditional decor. Harvey's Best Bitter always on tap apart from a good selection of other drinks. Friendly staff and lots of table space. Haven't tried their pub grub so can't comment. Definitely my favourite pub on Seaside.

Excellent food, we had the cajun chicken and chicken curry both were really good size portions and very tasty, starters and deserts were excellent too, my only criticism is the staff took away the cutlery and napkins and did not replace them, you had to ask, also staff not checking on customers often enough, we sat for 35 mins waiting for staff to come by in the end I had to approach them, if staff were more observant I would have rated this as 5 stars. Yes I would go back I wouldn't let the staff issue put me off this may of been a one off.

Found this lovely pub whilst on a break to Eastbourne.
Made to feel really welcome by the lovely members of staff and one lovely lady in particular who really took a liking to our Dog Boo.
Lovely homely atmosphere with great food and a decent pint.
Would highly recommend anyone visiting Eastbourne to pop in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and lovely food

The welcome was lovely , I was seated inside , they did have hand sanitizer, screens between tables. The waitress was friendly, bought menu to table .we had to order at the counter which was busy chaotic, felt very rushed . The pub was decorated beautifully, it was very warm inside , the lighting was very dim were I sat, I could hardly read the menu. The mains I ordered & my friend were lamb shank , new potatoes, veg it was a reasonable portion .my friends chicken meal was like a child size ,very poor indeed it looked awful against my plate.
