No standing allowed, inside or out. Please enter via the car park door and wait to be seated. Bearing in mind we still have to space the tables out more than we'd like, booking is strongly advised, whether you are eating, drinking, or both. Table bookings for dining will be taken 12 - 2:30 and 5:30 - 7:30 Mon - Sat, and 12 - 3:30 on Sundays.
We've reduced the menu a bit while we get back in the swing of things, but we're hoping to add some 'specials' as we go along. New menu available to view on request, or via our website shortly. Situated in the East Sussex coastal village of Pevensey Bay (just to the east of Eastbourne), this 16th Century building has been tastefully renovated, though with its low ceilings and oak beams it retains its 'old world' pub charm.

We had the loveliest meal with our family in holiday from London and Ireland. They had a miserable stay at the Pevensey Bay caravan park made very special by the atmosphere, great customer service and fantastic food. We enjoyed it so much we are back again this weekend. The sea bass is to die for. Dreaming about eating it since. If you are ever in Eastbourne go to the Castle Inn in Pevensey guaranteed not to be disappointed.
