Credibility and the ability to develop trust and confidence with senior people and other staff quickly and effectively and establish a "critical friend" or "trusted adviser" relationship.
I do the work I do because I believe in making the most of the people and organisations we've got and that ordinary people are capable of extraordinary things if led well (though changes may need to be made). I also believe enlightened leadership helps us all in times of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
Dr David Fraser began his career in engineering, later developing a particular curiosity about how to handle the human side of working life effectively and intelligently-in short, how to bring more wisdom into the workplace. His first book, Relationship Mastery: A Business Professional's Guide, was published in 2010.
