We provide a high tolerance precision engineering design and manufacturing service based in Clydebank, near Glasgow in Scotland, UK. Our experienced and skilled workforce, some with over 40 years each in the industry, specialise in small batch production, reverse engineering, micron precision, prototype engineering, CNC turning, surface grinding, grinding, milling and jig boring.
Bob O'Donnell, our MD, is also a founding Director. Glenhead purchased the property, plant and machinery of the former Clydesdale Tool & Gauge engineering company, took on many of the former employees, and regained many long-time customers. The photo above was taken in 1980 when the factory was opened.

At Glenhead, as we are specialist micron-precision engineers, not only will we make to order from your drawings, we can also take a new concept from design to manufacturing completion, or build a prototype if required. We can also reverse engineer from an existing part. Often we assist customers in redesigning components of their equipment to increase efficiency and productivity and/or save resources.
We produce high precision tooling, jigs, fixtures, press/mould tools, and special purpose machines through the use of CNC machining, EDM (spark) and Wire Erosion machines in our Clydebank premises near Glasgow.
