Abbs Cross and Chadwell St Mary Day Nurseries is a privately owned, family company established in 1996, currently operating four nurseries. We are open from 7:30 to 18:30 Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year and each nursery is committed to providing outstanding care and education for your child from birth to 5 years.
Our highly qualified practitioners and early years teachers provide a nurturing and educationally stimulating environment that supports each child's individual needs and interests. All of the nurseries follow the standards, policies and procedures of the company, but all are unique.

Our unique and successful senior management team of graduates have years of childcare experience and contribute to all aspects of the nurseries to ensure that the highest standards are achieved and maintained. Our friendly nurseries are equipped with excellent resources that are always displayed to encourage children's choice.
We offer parents the flexibility of choosing the attendance for their child, subject to availability. We have standard session times and we may also be able to offer an hourly rate for even more flexibility. For parents with more than one child at the setting we offer a sibling discount.
We have no requirement for your child to attend a minimum number of sessions and respect you as the parent/carer to decide on the days/sessions that are convenient to your circumstance.Please contact your preferred nursery for more details of availability and their fee structure.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) which sets the standards nationally for the care and education of young children. The EYFS focuses on the distinct learning and development needs of children from birth to the end of reception year in primary school.

Good quality food is crucial to a child's healthy growth and development as it increases energy levels and stimulates brain development. Therefore, we are committed to providing balanced and varied menus and use only the freshest ingredients including, fresh fruit snacks throughout the day.
We recognise the individual differences in children's dietary requirements, such as allergies and cultural beliefs and we endeavour to meet these requirements and provide children with quality alternatives.During mealtimes, practitioners create a relaxed atmosphere where children can build on their social skills and independence.

Most of our sites have CCTV and electronic door entry. With our Dayshare and Tapestry apps uploading your child's play, you can be sure your child is safe and their welfare is in very good hands. All nurseries use Tapestry systems for monitoring children's development and sharing information with parents.
