Welcome to Little Rascals Childcare Ltd, a renowned nursery offering high quality childcare in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We were founded in 1990 by two former teachers who were driven to establishing the highest quality childcare for their own children. Little Rascals now operates across two sites in East Leeds, Barwick Road and Station Road.
With over 30 years' experience, the team at Little Rascals understand every stage within your child's development. We are able to offer support and advice, to ensure each individual child's needs are met in a nurturing, engaging and safe environment. Services
Our second established Nursery is located within a large converted Primary School premises, which has an abundance of space and two large enclosed outdoor play areas. Station Road provides places for children aged 3 months to 5 years with funded early education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
We believe in enhancing this special time, by providing a fun and stimulating environment to support the development of your child's knowledge, skills, and confidence. Each activity is carefully planned for, taking into consideration the individual child, their needs, and interests. The characteristics of effective learning are an important element in the early year's foundation stage.
Little Rascals are proud to have been awarded the "Scope quality inclusion" accreditation mark. Scope recently visited us to renew our award and inspect our inclusive provision. Achieving this award validates our practices and procedures are inclusive to all children, families, and employees.
Each Nursery has a nursery SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) who are highly trained by the local authority and Little Rascals to support each child.We aim to ensure all individual needs are met. We also employ a SEND coordinator who works across sites to support, train and ensure standardisation of provision.
